Whether it's a 5 star hotel on the Caribbean or a campsite at 5000 metres altitude, we always offer a safe place with personal service that embodies the local charm. Likewise, the activities we offer, from mountain biking to coffee tasting, are in secure locations with the most passionate guides around. As we focus on personalized service, rather than offering large group tours, most of our adventures and excursions are arranged with a private or small group guide. When it comes to accommodation and transportation, we understand that all of our customers are different. To help you choose what's best for you, we have developed four distinct classes of accommodation and their equivalent level of transportation.

Elite Class 
Discover the most luxurious accommodations with the highest level of service in 5 star hotels. This rating is reserved for hotels that are officially, internationally rated as having 5 stars. *Spacious rooms in a locale with excellent amenities.
*As international tourism is just now taking off in Colombia, 5 star hotels are only available in the most exclusive, well-travelled areas of the country. Construction of new, premier level hotels is apparent throughout Colombia, but in the mean time, if you wish to travel in Premier Class, we will offer you the best accommodation available.
Premier Class 
Discover high class accommodations in 4 to (unofficial) 5 star hotels. Most of our boutique hotels fall into this category.
Traveller Class 
Stay in well-reputed locations with clean, comfortable rooms, private bathrooms with hot water, and most likely an included breakfast, at an approximately a 3 or 4 star rating accommodation. This class includes Bed & Breakfast style lodging as well as larger hotels with amenities. Such distinctions are always specified in the hotel descriptions.
Economy Class 
Includes a clean, comfortable, private room and bathroom with hot water, at an approximately 2 star hotel.
Budget Class 
Provides you with a place to stay without compromising your basic needs for security and shelter. Usually a hostel or camping and may or may not provide a private bathroom.
Please keep in mind that some activities, such as three-day hikes, may call for camping accommodations. If you are willing to camp out when the activity so demands but would prefer an upgrade for the rest of your trip, you should choose a trip with the upgraded accommodation.
Accommodation Location Classes
In order to help you understand where your accommodations are located, each choice is categorized as one of the following:
Urban
Located as close as possible to the activities we offer in the region and near the town square, city plaza, or nightlife.
En route
Accommodations conveniently located on a main road, possibly between destinations. There might be road noise in these accommodations depending on the room or time of day. Usually we choose these places because they are convenient or have something special or unique that we haven’t seen anywhere else.
Suburban
Close to the action, but far enough from the main road to escape the noise and enjoy the outdoors. From here, you will need some sort of public or private transport to get to your daily destinations, but it won’t be far.
Rural
Tranquil and peaceful, a place to come back to at the end of the day and relax. Generally speaking, if we choose a rural location it is because the place itself has something special: birdwatching, a coffee tour, or a good walking trail.
