Walk or Horseback Ride to The Peak
Highlight: Going from the shore to the peak of the island.
Both the nature walk and the horseback ride take you from the shore to the peak of the mountain on trails through the dry tropical forest. Historically, horses were an intengral part of life on the island. The walk takes 5-6 hours, while on horseback it's about 3 hours.

Highlight: Gliding across the calm, shallow waters through mangroves or over coral.

Flight Providencia-San Andres-Barranquilla, transfer to Santa Marta
The flights take about 2 hours. Upon arrival in Barranquilla, a private car will take you to your hotel in Santa Marta (about 2 hours by land).

Highlight: Walking through the jungle until you reach exotic Caribbean shores.
A day trip from Santa Marta, hike about an hour and a half through the jungle (look for monkeys!) until you arrive at a totally exotic, white sand beach. Walk along the beaches until you reach swim-able waters.
