Parque Tayrona beach & jungle walk - Arrecifes + Cabo San Juan
Highlight: Walking through the jungle until you reach exotic Caribbean shores.
A day trip from Santa Marta, hike about an hour and a half through the jungle (look for monkeys!) until you arrive at a totally exotic, white sand beach. Walk along the beaches until you reach swim-able waters.

Mud Volcano + Mangrove Canoe Tour
Highlight: Drifting slowly through tunnels formed by mangrove trees, and the zero gravity feeling of sitting/floating in volcanic mud.
A popular attraction 45 minutes from Cartagena, the mud from the Totumo Volcano is said to have great nutrients for your skin! After lunch, take a relaxing ride in a canoe as a buga, or canoe driver, paddles you through a mangal.

Highlight: Floating in crystal clear waters and observing the animals that inhabit the 32km (20mi)-long coral reef.
The guide will help decide the best part of the coral to see, depending on the day's conditions and your experience

Walk or Horseback Ride to The Peak
Highlight: Going from the shore to the peak of the island.
Both the nature walk and the horseback ride take you from the shore to the peak of the mountain on trails through the dry tropical forest. Historically, horses were an intengral part of life on the island. The walk takes 5-6 hours, while on horseback it's about 3 hours.
