Parque Tayrona beach & jungle walk - Arrecifes + Cabo San Juan
Highlight: Walking through the jungle until you reach exotic Caribbean shores.
A day trip from Santa Marta, hike about an hour and a half through the jungle (look for monkeys!) until you arrive at a totally exotic, white sand beach. Walk along the beaches until you reach swim-able waters.

Parque Tayrona beach, jungle & indigenous trek - Pueblito Chairama*
Highlight: Exploring the trails and structures left behind by the Tayrona tribes.
Though Chairama was deserted centuries ago, the Kogi, descendents of the Tayrona, still live in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
