Likewise, the activities we offer, from mountain biking to coffee tasting, are in secure locations with the most passionate guides around. As we focus on personalized service, rather than offering large group tours, most of our adventures and excursions are arranged with a private or small group guide. When it comes to accommodation and transportation, we understand that all of our customers are different. Just as different travellers seek different styles of accommodation, they also seek different activities. At Diversitours, we focus on Nature, Culture, and Adventure. As such, all of our activities are based on at least one of those themes, but at varying degrees of difficulty or intensity. We offer Adventure Tours, which focus on outdoor sports such as white water rafting and mountain biking; Excursion Tours, which focus on leisure activities like bird watching and nature walks; and we offer Diversity Tours, which is a mix of different kinds of activities. To help choose which tour is right for you, read a bit more about these three options and consider which one suits you best. Keep in mind that with each tour you can choose the accommodation class that you prefer separately.

Within each region, hotel pick up and drop off is included for most activities.* This might be a private car, or a mini-bus (usually with about 12 seats).
*The main exception to this is the Coffee Region. Because the region is so large, it is difficult to include transport costs without drastically increasing the prices. We will work with you to help you choose hotels near the activities you want to do, and give you the option of having hotel pick up and drop off, or using public transport.
Transportation from one region to the next is not included. At the bottom of each tour, you will see price estimates for ground transportation versus flights. We leave the option up to you so that you can decide which one suits you best.
Travel by Land
If you choose to travel by land, inter-city transport will usually be on Colombia's public bus system. (Please contact us if you want to arrange a private car or van between destinations.) Unfortunately, most bus companies in Colombia do not accept reservations or advanced payments. So, instead of buying your tickets for you, we will give you a detailed itinerary that includes information on getting to the bus terminal, what bus companies depart at what time for your next destination, and estimated costs for bus tickets. If you prefer to fly between cities in Colombia, we will be happy to book those flights for you, most likely using Avianca or Aires Airlines. To do so, we will need your passport number and nationality, and your full legal name. Please keep in mind that at this point in time, domestic flights in Colombia tend to be more expensive than flights of similar distances in other countries (mainly due to high taxes and lack of competition.) As new airlines enter the market, this is changing. We always design our multi-destination tours with Colombia's geography in mind. In many cases, we can divide the ground transportation into 3-4 hour segments so that flights aren't necessary.
