The history of San Andres (and Providencia) is torn between English Puritans, Spanish explorers, Dutch colonists, Jamaican slaves, and pirates. According to legend, Captain Morgan's treasure trove is hidden in one of the island's caves.
After visiting, it's no wonder why so many people wanted this little piece of paradise. While historically it was sought after as a strategic location in the Americas and for cultivating sugar cane, now it is a dream destination for beach lovers, SCUBA divers, and globe-trotters alike.
On San Andres Island, we can arrange accommodation from 1-5 stars, in a small boutique or in an all-inclusive resort. Direct flights depart daily from Bogotá, Cartagena, and Medellín.
